Kishi is extremely overzealous in regard to aging his characters. Iruka is basically the youngest of Kakashi's generation and looked like he was bordering on 60 in chapter 700. Kishi needs to transition them better.

you forgetting he was an experiment incubated for YEARS. not only that, he was injected with ton of different DNA material (whatever that might be).

it's only natural that would shorten his life or make him age faster.

ya they're not officially allied, but they are unofficially connected. they might not know at which place he's at all times (unless they have someone tailing him) but they also are able to contact him as fast as they need to. he's not running away from them obviously, he helped in the war big time. He might not be wanted anymore but he's surely not again a citizen of konoha.

Gaiden naruto and Sasuke can't really kill him low diff. It's too risky to go against him for anything other than attacking the village. Also Sasuke shouldn't be 100 percent trusted. So it's only gaiden naruto and kakashi left with yamato too old and gai wounds too much from the last war to be useful. So yeah orchimaru is too powerful to just simply get rid off. Also both hokages can't really leave the village to fight orchimaru because there would be no to protect the leaf then

To be honest, Orochimaru is always like that. He doesn't care about anything but his experiments. So being nice or being bad is not important to him and he knows his place. He can not do anything if he pissed off Sasuke or Naruto. He already witnessed they 2 sealed most powerful shinobi in the history. About Yamato he has Hashirama Cells so old age means nothing to him. You can compare them like Danzou & Hiruzen.
