This is just a theory but what if Sakura was barren? Meaning she was unable to produce a child of her own. This would lead to her either getting eggs(Karins) transplanted into her or have to use a surrogate(Karin). Two possible ways that explain this weird situation without making Sasuke a complete douche. Just a theory though.

which he would not take care of neither karin and like Sasuke promised Sakura that he would come back and he asked her
if he could take care of Sarada as her mother till his mission was over

Nah it went like this sakura was pregnant and she was to weak (like passing out n shit) so when she was about to give birth outside the village sasuke got Karin to help. Sakura most likely bit her to get extra strength. In doing so Karin DNA transferred to sarada. Making the match

The 2 main possibilities are surrogacy (as you pointed out) I have mixed feeling in whether Kishi would implement this into a shounen manga though. Or Karin is also a deadbeat parent and Sarada has a good foster parent and two deadbeat biological parents.

Traditional surrogacy is when the father would naturally or artificially impregnate the surrogate mother but the baby would be intended for the original couple What you are referring to is gestation surrogacy which they create or take an egg and implant it in the surrogate(common in the states). Also infertility can be caused by many things not just a damaged organ. Once again it's just a theory rather this then Sasuke cheating on her
