Uhhh...you really think orochimaru has to be discreet with anything anymore? Like honestly he can try to be, but he has no reason to be. Naruto and sasuke arent stupid kids anymore and can pretty much read on to him. He could be lying to them, we don't know to try and expand time for something bigger coming up.

Lol... sasuke murdered a hokage candidate, aided a organisation that pretty much summoned the edo that attempted to brutalize to Gokage. BOTH helped out in overcoming the Final threat. All is fine and forgiven in Nv.

We have no real data on where orochimaru's from, what he did to be the way he is. WHy he's such a way, my point is. We dont really know, he could and couldn't be, but so far chances are leading to him being connected to whatever the final villain will be. So far, the villain in the movie looks kind of like orochimaru, white skin, freakishness. Chances are orochimaru's younger now so he can handle all that power. (youthfulness he's always longed for).
