Because without Orochimaru around this manga is worthless or lifeless. Able to see Oro face was like getting a new life.

Why would they care? Orochimaru is one of the main reasons NV won the war and now he's not even in Konoha anymore.

Sasuke and Naruto can't save every single person in NV from harm.
