We didn't see every moment they spent together, but Sasuke has shown he cares alot about her.

Well It's kind of a f*ucked up situation....

Since Sasuke is never around, Sakura was the only one person Sarada could trust for a long time, It's not that difficult to understand that Sakura tried to bury the truth from her daughter until Sasuke appeared at some point.

She is the one that has no biological bonds with her daughter, It should be easier to talk about that with her dad, or Naruto maybe.
