Why Kakashi preferred Sasuke as a student over Naruto ?

He threw Naruto at Ebisu and Naruto was lucky that Jiraiya returned to Konoha. Before you putting the scan of Jiraiya-Kakashi talk, I want point out that was after Kakashi send Naruto to Ebisu.

Naruto was lacking in chakra control. Plus, the exams came real soon. It would be easier to teach Sasuke elemental nature and Chidori, given his aptitude. Then there is Kakashi needed to keep his Curse Seal Mark in check.

Orochimaru was after Sasuke, and Sasuke wanted to become stronger. To help him do so without relying on the Curse Mark, Kakashi gave his full attention to Sasuke during the prep fime before the finals. Afterwards, as you noted, Jiraiya told Kakashi that he would take care of Naruto.

Because sasuke was similar to kakashi, sasuke was easily trained, and kakashi most likely felt sympathy for sasuke losing his family since he lost his father (which made kakashi sad/changed him). Probably also wanted to ease whatever pain he felt because kakashi probably felt something similar.

Because he is lazy and busy at the same time. It is better to teach some one with sharingan and Sasuke was being targetted by Orochimaru + curse mark problem.

I think it was about Kakashi's laziness. Naruto is slow at learning, so it would take a lot of Kakashi's time to teach him and would be a real bother. However since Sasuke is a genius, he learns things real fast and Kakashi doesn't need to waste extra effort. :kakashi:

To do something about the CS and also Sasuke was in many ways similar to Kakashi so he wanted to create a V2.0 of himself...

funny because during the chuunin exams sasuke was a lil ***** fodder and kept cowering in shock and fantazising about itachi, while he was doing that naruto was kicking a tailed beasts ass

Le answer is Kakashi saw himself in Sasuke, the latter was in desperate need of training and on top of that needed something else to focus on, so that he won't give in to the curse mark.

It was because he had the same nature type, the training was to just teach him Chidori and ontop of that how to mimic Lee's speed from when he faced Gaara

Naruto had trouble summoning a tadpole after 2 weeks of training, and Jiraiya had to throw Naruto off a cliff to force him to use the Kyuubi's chakra to summon a big toad.

Meanwhile, in 2 weeks Sasuke started using his 2nd nature element ,and developed it enough to master the Chidori + Attained Lee's High speed Taijutsu which took Lee years to achieve. All this while dealing with the Curse Mark, and having to think about Orochimaru being after him.

I said two weeks instead of a month because at the beginning of chapter 93 it says, "15 days since the start of training", and later in the chapter we see Sasuke, and Kakashi meet up, and Kakashi says, "So You're finally here", thus implying Sasuke had just shown up to start training with their being only 15 days left.

You're right on everything except the Sakura part. Kakashi told Tsunade about Sakura, which was part of the reason why she accepted her as her student, and at the beginning of Part 2 he said she had the potential to surpass Tsunade.
