Why do people consider Naruto & Sasuke Gods???

I really never understood why people did this, they aren't even close to omnipotent and can die like everyone else. I never seen anyone in the manga call them a God :yeah: is calling someone "God" just a lazy way to describe how strong someone is in anime/manga these days? Point is, you set yourself up for too much expectations when you slapping that word onto characters who don't deserve it one bit.

Just so we are clear, being a god does not mean you are omnipotent. You probably get this idea from the Christian god. Very few gods are actually omnipotent. They just hold power greater than any mortal man. Most have extended lifespans and some are immortal. They both fit in at least one of these categories.
