Naruto a hypocrite?

I don't like Kishi's logo on how Naruto isn't spending enough time with his family. I mean I get that he's the Hokage but everything that made Naruto who he is was on him growing up with no parents. Sonyou would think that when Naruto had children he wouldn't want his kids to go through what he did so he would spend as much time with his family as possible.

It isn't the same. Naruto's circumstances were different.

He had no one when he was growing up because he was a Jinchuriki, the village had a reason to despise and shun him (not that I would ever call what they did justifiable). He didn't have a single friend nor did he have any parents.

Boruto and Himawari aren't anywhere close to having that much emotional baggage. They're loved by the whole village, have both their parents alive and well and aren't Jinchuriki's.

Naruto expects Bolt to understand the pain of not having a parent around because he himself has already gone through it. Its not as if he's trying to purposely avoid his children, his duties as Hokage must come first.

Bolt resents his father because Naruto must have spent a shit ton of time with him when he was growing up. Suddenly having your object of affection spend less time with you would make any kid resentful.

Naruto has a job to put food on the table and roof over their heads. Would you say your mom or dad is a bad parent because the don't spend every waking second with you? No Naruto like all parents has a job and if he worked anywhere else he would not only be getting payed less but also he would be spending as much time away from home as well

Obviously I dont know if its true or not because we havent seen it. I was just joking around based on what I have seen. I still havent had a chance to watch The Last yet either so I didnt know about that.

It is nowhere near the same thing. As hokage, unless Naruto has some task where he needs to leave the village (as he does right now), then he most likely still comes home to his family every night! It is no different from a parent going to work in the morning and coming home later. Nobody ever came home to kid Naruto. Everybody hated kid Naruto. Boruto doesn't have these problems. Not to mention that Boruto has more family that he can play with. He has Hinata ,Himawari and a whole clan of relatives (the Hyuuga), but apparently he only vaguely remembers them I guess. He is just so obsessed with his dad it is ridiculous.

Using a shadow clone would most likely make Bolt weaker and even more naive in the end. If Naruto obliges Boruto with a shadow clone all the time, then Boruto may never come to understand that sometimes people have things called priorities!
