How did sasuke lose his tomoe in his rinnegan

I think At the VOTE 2,Naruto's punch made sasuke's rinnegan to lose its tomoes.Sasuke's rinnegan eye closed down for 2 years because of naruto.After when His eye was open,There were no tomoes in it

Madara was not suprised to see the Tomoe in Sasuke's Rinnegan. This leads me to believe that Madara may have also had Tomoe when he first unlocked his Rinnegan. Perhaps they faded over time. I know there are no panels to back this up, and that there is a panel showing Madara unlock his Rinnegan with no tomoe. It makes sense to me, it's possible that Kishimoto hadn't thought of that when he drew that panel.

Yes but Sasuke never had the ten-tail's eye, like Madara and Kaguya. Madara specifically referred to Sasuke's eye as the rinnegan.

Drawing mistake or Sasuke had lost the chakra the sage gave to him and his eyes turned back to the normal rinnegan.
