Im really hating the people hating the nerf or so called nerf.

1. Naruto able to keep up with teleportaion justu but not instant swap. The instant swap technique can catch anyone even The Flash the fastest characters in fiction. The ability to litterly swap something in you body with a weapon. Even madara Shinju also got hit by the same technique.

Shin's MS ability manipulates anything that's marked with his curse seal. That thing was launched at naruto. Why he couldn't sense it or couldn't tank(The dude took a chidori to the chest and didn't get damaged by it) it's pure nerfing.

Debunking Shins teleportation: look, the sword was covered in blood- clearly it pierced through, if it was teleported into place, then it wouldnot have blood on the blade sticking out of Naruto's back.

Ive been lurking for awhile and this is what happens after nerfs like this become cannon, it happens all the time in fiction:

1) People are going to use this panel to downplay Naruto for decades, if not longer.

2) I know for a fact that I am going to see hundreds of arguments debunking Naruto's durability due to this panel, even though, the sword was flung at unknown speeds, Shin could have manipulated it to go mach 5k+ for all we know about his powers.

The only reason this downplay happened is because Naruto is no longer the main character, and the author needs some way in order to integrate Bolt and Salad as the main stars. - Since this is a shonen, and power/combat is a main aspect of the series.

Also: Naruto becoming Rusty is bullshit, their are only 2 people in the world that can handle someone on kaguyas level - Naruto and Sasuke. The moment Sasuke made it known to the kage that something greater than kaguya exists- the Naruto I know,- would have started training his as off.

If naruto is too busy, then enlist Kakashi, and have shika help him out- Naruto has known for years of a threat greater than kaguya. Wtf has he been doing>

Based on what ive seen of the gaiden,- Naruto should have never become hokage,- I cant even see him being happy in that role truthfully, he shouldve been like Jiriaya,- any1 else notice at the first oppurtinity Naruto wanted to leave and go with Sasuke on a grand adventure?-

This is like if when trunks told everyone about the androids,- they decided to just chill and become rusty for two years....

You make good points but it's obvious the sword didn't move much considering Sasuke was right infront of Naruto, it didn't take much to move it so it would hit him.

Shin's MS ability manipulates anything that's marked with his curse seal. That thing was launched at naruto. Why he couldn't sense it or couldn't tank(The dude took a chidori to the chest and didn't get damaged by it) it's pure nerfing.

Naruto was prepared for the Chidori, so it's possible he increased his defense so he could handle it, whereas he was never expecting Sasuke's Sword to hit him.

Another thing to consider is that if Naruto is so invincible to swords then why would Masashi purposefully make sure Sasuke lost his sword right before fighting Naruto?

Sasuke easily made his sword stab through the strongest Shinobi in history's chest, the same could have happened to Naruto hence having Sasuke lose his sword in the Kaguya battle.

1) I remember when people where comparing Sasukes performance against Shin, with how Naruto performed and somehow said Naruto > Shin > Sasuke. Sasuke fans could easily do the same thing with what happened this chapter but you don't see that happening.

2) Naruto reacted to Sasukes Amenotejikara (just barely) which is instant.
