Worst Character Nerfs in Naruto

In your opinion, what were some of the most outrageous character nerfs in all of Naruto?

My list:

1.) Kakashi: Claimed he had 1k jutsus but never uses them, and never once mentions having a low chakra pool in part 1 but suddenly has one in part 2.

2.) Itachi: Kishi gives him a disease to slow him down and drop his stamina simply because Itachi is awesome. Sounds fair :|

3.) Nagato: So strong that he had to be crippled and immobilized to the max.

4.) Orochimaru: Presumably knows thousands of jutsus and is super strong but loses a basic battle because of nerfing sickness.

5.) JJ Oboto: Loses his best jutsu Kamui because he'd wipe the floor with everyone if he was allowed to keep it

Yes, Sasori for sure. Iron sand should have annhialated everything but does nothing.

Good choices. Current Naruto and Sasuke's nerfs were the absolute worst. No physical hindrances, just excuses. Kishi isn't even trying to cover up the nerfs anymore.

Yeah how BZ could even punch through JJ Madara's durability (which even survived and insta-healed damage from bijuus and Night Guy) still baffles me.

1 - I wouldn't say Kakashi not shown using 1000 jutsu is a nerf, especially if it required more than just simple ninjutsu/other jutsu to take on high tier shinobi with EMS and Rinnegans. :eww:

2 - I feel as though Kishi giving Itachi sickness was one of the most stupid and pointless things in the whole manga, especially since Itachi was planning out his death in the first place. U_U

3 - Although pointless and stupid but I agree. :|

4 - This is true.

5 - Also true. JJ Obito's fight could've been much more epic with Kamui unrestricted.

PS - pretty much the whole of war arc was full of characters being nerfed and I think that is one of the reasons it is the worst arc. :hmm:

- Kakashi was never given more stamina, he simply gained control over the Ninjutsu. We have known this since part one, that less chakra is used if one has more mastery over the technique. He also admitted twice that it was Kurama's chakra that allowed him to abuse it. So, it wasn't nerf in that area.

The thousand jutsu was a load of garbage though. I always knew he was never going to show anything from inside his empty rabbit hat.

- Itachi wasn't exactly nerfed either. People probably didn't properly paid attention, but he used a Crow Kage Bunshin - that uses half the chakra, sometimes slightly less than half - right at the beginning of the battle. From that point onward, he did the following:

1- Use Amaterasu twice; one time he made it chase Sasuke so much that the entire area surrounding the hideout was covered in flames.

2 - Katon.

3 - Tsukuyomi.

4 - Level 4 Susano'o with Sword Totsuka and Mirror long enough to save himself from Kirin, exhaust Sasuke, battle Orochimaru and seal him. When we know how taxing Susano'o can be. According to Sasuke, even using the bones form was making "every cell in his body ache."

That is far from nerf. As the man was doing on that all half or nearly half the reserves.

- Orochimaru was always weak - as is everyone else - to Sharingan Genjutsu. The lost the battle the same way to Itachi as well. I agree with technique nerfing only, the rest of his weakness was always explained it plot.

- I agree about Nagato.

- I agree about JJ Obito as well.

I would say Obito one first, then Itachi and then Nagato.

Like, If Obito still had Kamui, he wouldn't have lost in any form, Naruto and Sasuke wouldn't even be able to touch him then. Another one would be Itachis disease which barely allowed him to stand...like why would it he have it? He was in perfect health before, why would he get sick all of a sudden?!?!

Don't even get me started on Nagato...

Why you didn't complain when sasuke got 9 fcking bijuus , A whole new big ass bijuu susanoo and Indra arrow all of a sudden and naruto was only restricted to use kyuubi? And kyuubiis chakra worn out against sasuke when he was not losing it against kaguya or madara.yet my boy defeat sasuke's ass

You would be a fool if you think that sasuke could Land his sword in naruto and you would be even more dumb if you think the sword would do any damage to nqruto.

-Naruto in VOTE 2.I don't even count the times naruto got nerfed.naruto didn't use his BDRS and 9 bijuu RS which are the strongest techniques of naruto till now.

Naruto didn't use other bijuu chakra and naruto was not trying to kill sasuke.

Naruto tipped off a rock while carrying rasengan otherwise he would neg sasuke.

His illness made him look weak.
