What can this Shin guy possibly be so bitter over that he needs to achieve "peace"?

I mean, honestly, what could he possibly so bitter over? Maybe he lost someone in the war? Either way, this is pointless because the world was already at peace anyway. And, stopping evolution? At least Pain and Obito/Madara's plans made sense, but, "stopping evolution"? And that will achieve peace how?

I think only Uchihas have a problem of becoming crazy and getting revenge on the world after losing someone. In case of Shin, I think he desires a power, not peace. So his moving force is greed. It was never stated that he wanted to achieve peace.

You completely misunderstood what he said :|. Shin Sr doesn't want peace he wants the opposite. He believes having peace will halt human evolution and he even pointed out that naruto and sasuke are "weakened" because of peace. Which is somewhat true.

The only thing he seems bitter about is sasuke killing itachi. We really don't know who this guy really is so idk about that part.
