It's kind of funny how our expectations have fallen on their faces. We kept saying that the adult versions were going to be stronger, and now look what happens. The Last versions are probably them at their prime, albeit, neither unleashed their full potential. Sasuke increased his chakra potency, whereas Naruto had full Kurama in addition to RSM. It comes down to skill in reality. The time it takes for them to win depends. They could catch their older versions off-guard easily, but when it comes to a large-scale brawl(between avatars and susanoo), they'd be equal.

VOTE2 Naruto and Sasuke would likely loose. Even if the younger version's judgement and reflexes are better, they still have inferior firepower to the adults.

The weakest versions of Naruto and Sasuke to defeat the Shins(for sure from what we've seen so far) is probably MS Sasuke and KCM Naruto. Hear me out. You have to remember, this version of Naruto has RSM activated to a certain extent, but got impaled. Remember, it's higher level durability than SM. So, one either needs to evade, or block the blades with a powerful defense, which wuold be KCM shunshin and susanoo. However, it is certainly plausible that Naruto and Sasuke could beat him in lower forms, perhaps SM and Hebi even.

I still don't see how people think they actually got significantly weaker. All the manga has said is that Naruto's really rusty

Naruto's cloak being pierced is probably because of Shins Jutsu. KCM and SM have both tanked blades (blade like for SM) on their own. Even JJ Madara was pierced by a sword when used in combination with an ST (despite tanking significantly stronger attacks)

Havnt seen The Last. Though I know they got stronger (if Naruto has been drained of a majority of his chakra as I understand it)

It's never known whether or not he regained all of his charka, or just some of it. However, regardless of what he used in it, and given that these chapters prove that Naruto has RSM still, he probably has the same power as Adult Naruto, with better reflexes.

He should have gotten it all back. Considering him and Sasuke were drained to nothing after VOTE2 and regained it

Haven't seen much from the adults really, logically they should be stronger since neither are like old (hiruzen type old), but neither have excellent feats or really new jutsu....

They technically should have more raw power at there disposal but they lost their sense of battle.

Naruto and Sasuke 15 years younger would have seen that sword coming from a mile away and Sasuke would've used something else rather than his body to take those knives.

i completly agree with this asuming they still have rikudo chakra which is doubtfull considering that sasuke physical stats got much weaker that even shin caught his sword in the mid of his slash .
