If they were controlled like you insist he'd be able to control them on their own....but either way Kisame isn't that nimble with the blade if he absorbs an elemental jutsu (which are huge so it will take some time) the threads take him by surprise and grab the hilt, which doesn't absorb chakra. Or he just gets blitzed :lol I mean he was blitzed by Lee, Neji and ten-ten was he not?

Because that isn't slicing something like Kakuzu's threads. Besides there would most likely be a clump of them grasping it, not just one thread .-. Those blades aren't large enough. It takes Kakuzu like what 3 seconds to whip the blade across the location. Sure he can come back but now Kisame's useless.
