Holy ****! What an episode! I thought the first part of the episode was executed nicely and man was I pleasantly surprised by the second part of it. I loved it! Not sure how canon it is but I hope it is cause it was good. We got to see how close rin and obito were at a young age and the sudden change in kakashi who actually said I will save his friends before his father died. And we're getting more on it in the next episode too which looks promising. We already know the actual story and we are gonna get it eventually so I love that the anime are adding background story like that cause I've been waiting forever. If they could do one on minato as well that would be awesome lol.

Half of it is FLASHBACK!!!!!! Its called Two Mangekyou???? For what? They didn't even fight! Next week a filler -_- . But Obito was badass! Only 14 minutes of canon rest filler fkashback!

BUT I CANT DENY THE FIRST 13 MINUTES WERE AMAZING!!!!! I COULD HAVE PUT 5/5 BUT THAT FLASHBACK! The animation of the first hakf was TOOOOO GOOOD!

No matter what excuse you might try to find, there was absolutely no reason for that half filler part, all it was was recycling trash and next week yet another unecessary filler episode. :nuts::nuts::nuts: If they wanted to give eve more spotlight to Kakashi, they could have done so -even more- back at his own arc!

Seriously? You're telling me that we haven't seen thousands of times already Obito being late for the Academy and Rin giving him the papers he needed to complete? Besides it's not about that but also about a horrible timing, you simply don't put these kind of fillers out of the blue just when an arc of 6 months of fillers just ended! It completely ruined the atmosphere from the figth between Madara to Obito's childhood yet again. If anything, they could have given him 2 minutes of how Obito viewed kakashi changing because of his father's death and in any case next episode will be yet another filler about how Obito sees Kakashi's slow change of personality. This is not the time and place for such fillers, it would perfectly fit at Kakashi's arc, at this point they unecessarily stretch this out, no excuses allowed.

Today naruto shippuden episode was very nice i liked it but the flash back ugh << sigh what s worse they are adding fillers again why!? didnt they finish with fillers already now need to wait way more for guy vs madara that i expected

Man that episode started so good i was totally hyping specially when obito turned "good" and stepped up to madara and then.. and then.. a... FLASHBACK???? AGAIN?? after allllll those flashbacks and months of fillers? omfg *facepalm*
why can't they just continue the story for ONCE?!

The artwork and animation of the first half was surprisingly good.
But the filler flashback was a major turn off...

That epic music when Obito created his staff and the following scenes made me thrill, and it could have been even more awesome with proper animation, and not the crappy one we got. And yet, I could even have overseen the animation quality if they had actually followed up with the manga, but they had to fill it with stupids fillers again, so it turned to be just an average-mediocre episode. Not to mention we are having fillers A-G-A-I-N next week. Are you fking kidding me? XD

Man I didn't even watch the fillers, just skipped through them just to see if they actually showed THE TWO FKN MANGEKYO at the end, which is what the title was meant for, only to find myself staring at the ending credits.

This felt just like the Heroes of the Storm launch event, when they left Madeon and everyone thought something was gonna happen at the end. But no.

What a way to ruin one of my favourite chapters. First, the animation was shit. Everything was too fast-paced and the movements appeared too choppy. Second, the filler-half of this episode wasn't necessary at all. We just had months of fillers, and canon only returned last week. They just had to extend these flashbacks with garbage filler scenes. To make matters worse, we're at the start of a new mini-filler arc. SP sure does love to milk this series as much as they can.

Ehh... at least the soundtrack was on point.

That's pretty useful in battle.

I think he just was preparing Sage Mode for a while, then when it was ready, threw the kunai, and then actually entered Sage Mode. Having instant sage mode makes no sense, since it requires Minato to stay still.
