I must have been watching a different fight, because Sasuke was handling those peeps. Had he not been given PIS, he would have used Susano'o, but it was still because he had to protect his daughter.

Naruto would have been fine with Kurama's healing too, though Kurama did say he was rusty so he did get worse.
