Honest Question, Why does everyone dislike Sakura?

When I first came to the story I thought she was ok but after rewatching the anime she is pretty useless at the point I'm at now but I didn't think she was a bad or useless charter

People don't hate her, they hate what Kishi has done with her.

She started as a fairly strong character, but she never got the same character development as Sasuke or Naruto. She doesn't have equal strength with them and she's become a stereotypical needy damsel in distress. They think Kishi failed spectacularly with Sakura and made her a weak, unimportant character.

Precisely. I really do like her, Kishi just repeatedly nerfs her. Give her character to another writer and she'd be fantastic.

In short kishi doesn't know how to write female characters well. She is a female charcter that he wrote you do the rest.

Basically people showed pity to Naruto who was the demon boy, and when she was mean to him people couldn't stand for it. It is a stupid reason but well, people are stupid..

Sakura is the worst main character I've seen in any story. Despite being the main character she gets less panel time than many supporting characters throughout the series. She only has 2 heroic moments in the entire Series, during the Sasori fight and during the final battle. Her power progression is so largely ignored that Kishi needs to retecon her at the end of the story for her to be relevant, but the retecon is so abrasive that most readers still don't believe she's that strong. She has absolutely no character growth beyond the fact that she isn't quite as bad as she was in the very first chapters of the story. She sends the worst moral message to readers I've ever seen; just latch on to the prettiest boy and endure years of abuse, because on day he'll stop trying to murder you. Her choice of said attempted murderer over jesus incarnate, makes her unrelatable and seem downright mentally messed up in the head.

I could go on and on.

That was one of her good points actually. Sadly many don't get this. She had to be Sasuke's fangirl because Sasuke was the golden boy while Naruto was the villages black sheep. Story generally was about Naruto getting out of his 'Black Sheep' title and becoming a Golden boy for himself. And as the story progressed, he just did that including Sakura. Hating her just because she was mean to poor little Naruto is a bit pathetic don't you think ?

I don't care for what Sakura represents as a character, especially in Part one for that matter. Even towards the end of Part 1 when she realized Naruto wasn't this "black sheep" she wanted to join Sasuke on his leave, and defect to a man who killed their Hokage, leave her friends and family, all to be with Sasuke and him only.

I don't like her because she was not grateful. Pt 2 she became more respectable, but not by much, then fell downward. It jas nothing to do with how she treated naruto compared to sasuke. She was just too obsessed and not focused on bettering herself enough because of jer obsession.

If you don't care what she represents in the manga than you don't get to judge her character.

Story was about Naruto trying to be acknowladged. Sasuke had that. Naruto was the black sheep of the village, children of his age group like Sakura didn't bothered with him. He was alone, and as the story progressed he started gaining acknowladgment as he get from Sakura. Sakura was also one of Naruto's target to conquer.
Without realizing this you're trying to judge her character, thats just sad.

Sakura had to be Sasuke's fangirl in order to create a situation for Naruto to win her. Not romantical way, the way he won Iruka he needed to win Sakura too. That was what Naruto's character about. As the main character, other characters are being created to fit his story, hating a character for her starting point is a silly reason.

And what is this comparing Temari, Tenten and Sarada with Sakura ? Thats just plain weak man. Tenten didn't even know Naruto as she was older, Temari was from another village and Sarada, really Sarada ? You're just a silly kid who couldn't get over the fact that Sakura has been mean to Naruto, grow up dude Obito killed the guys parents he is a better target for you to hate

She's a shit character who solidifies her shittiness in chapter 3, who has nothing but shallow love for Sasuke despite the fact he would of murdered her.
