Panthalassa strides in with caution over the slippery fields of the swamp that lead to the deserted ruins of a forgotten city within the Water Country. The arranged place is a large oval plaza of a black rock, with swap and bog for miles around.
Panthalassa tried to dress as light and comfortable as he could, figuring this would proceed similar to the kenjutsu training. He wrapped a few bandages around his fist and and around his forehead, to keep the sweat from dripping in his eyes.Sorry for the late reply lol
Dean awaits his student, Panthalassa, as they aim to begin a new journey. This time they would start off with Taijutsu, which was quite easy to teach since they could just fight and learn throughout. Dean grabs a bottle of Gin, and gurgles around half of it up. It was something he was going to need today.
"So... Taijutsu huh? Tell me everything you know about it, so we can start. Like what is about, how it is done and notable users of it."
I really enjoyed the way we did Kenjutsu, but I might be underestimating the length of the Taijutsu jutsu list. As always, I will follow your lead, Sensei.Dean listens to his student, he clearly did his research on Taijutsu already. Dean smiled, as he gurgled more of his Gin.
"Alright, that is sufficient. So I am guessing we are going the same way with this as we did with Kenjutsu? Or how do you want to move along, because Taijutsu has a lot more techniques than Kenjutsu. I'd prefer simple analysis on each technique, with some practical exercise every now and then."
"How about we do multiple Taijutsu techniques, then we'll be able to go through them at a better pace? In the same way we did Kenjutsu."
Panthalassa was clearly not prepared, nor used to the sort of speed his Sensei displayed. When he went to put his guard up, Dean had already punched him in the chest, which pushed him back quite a lot.Hearing his student agree, Dean dashes towards his student with great speed. Greater speed, power and determination, Dean was a master of the fighting style known as Graceful Fist, which made him more agile overall and also faster and lighter. This would serve a good purpose to teach his student, and also for Dean to get some exercise. He was a bit out of shape.
As he closes in on his student, Dean keeps his focus on his student, as he launches his right arm towards Pantha's chest, in an aim to push him back. A simple technique, but one that he aimed to hit Pantha back enough, so he could gain more speed.
"A simple Taijutsu technique, where one delivers a punch aimed at the opponent's chest. Although its very simple, it has its uses, trust me."
Dean says as he dashes towards Pantha once more.
Panthalassa brought his arms up, to protect his face from the flying kick, launching himself backwards to cushion the impact. When he returned back to his feet, he said.

He took the hit like a man, as expected. Dean wasn't going to hold back, as he remembered that a Taijutsu legend once told him; "The best way to become perfect at Taijutsu, is to do it." #ZeroKelvin
Upon coming towards Panthalassa, he actually launched a fist towards Dean who easily slid his body into a drunken stupor and dodged it by swaying to the left, and then using his body to push Panthalassa away from him, using his whole body to do so. A great way to set up his next move, as he dashes once more as Panthalassa was staggered, and jumped from his feet, directing his dominant foot towards Panthalassa's face.
"A simple technique once more, and easy to counter. A simple dash and jump, to kick the opponent in the face. I AM TAKING A CHANCE USING THIS ON YOU."
Dean screams as he knows his student could easily dodge or counter this, he had already thought of his next technique, and the one after that. Dean was prepared.
For the first technique, am I allowed to do any sort of variant flying kick to the face using this technique, as in, can I use this with a straight kick, a spinning kick, a axe kick, etc etc?"Alright, my method is as follows. I will explain the technique to you, then I want you to perform the technique against a clone of mine, give me at least two advantages and disadvantages of said technique, and also, how you would use said technique in battle. If you have questions, feel free to ask. You can also add all of them in one go, in an analysis format with performing the technique. Anyway, here is the technique I used against you just now."

Description:A taijutsu attack were the user does a jumping kick into the opponents face.
"The next technique is a simple one, which can be used to quickly make the opponent lose his footing and get him on the ground. By spinning your body, you will deliver a simple rear spinning low kick, which quickly makes the opponent lose his footing, and could even send him flying. The technique aims to deal damage to the lower half of the opponent's body. Use it against my clone."
Dean creates a clone which runs towards Panthalassa.
I'll never forget that you're asking me to give that level of detail when describing a Slap technique..."It allows freedom based on the situation, so I believe so. Reading the fights of the best Tai users will make you see how they use these simple techniques very effectively. Nonetheless, great job. If you could analyse all the techniques like that, we are cool. Here you go (The Jutsu you just learned)."

Description: This technique is a good example of how even simple taijutsu can become a pre-eminently destructive, lethal technique. The attack is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body.
"Now, we'll be covering a few techniques (3) at a time. The first technique is simple, it starts off by dashing towards the opponent, and upon reaching him, you will deliver several high and low kicks. The high kick basically acts as a feign in order to restrict the opponent's evasion margin. This allows the low kick to actually connect, or have a higher chance of connecting, hitting the opponent in the rib cage, which cause simple blunt damage unless your kick is somehow enhanced by something.

Damage Points: 20
Description: A taijutsu where one launches a succession of high kicks and low kicks. Firstly, the opponent's evasion margin is restrained upon seeing the high kick, thus augmenting the chances for the low kick to hit the mark connecting to the rib cage area. So originally the high kick is little more than a feint.
After that is a technique, which can be used in different situations and is basically just free form, not sure why it falls under the normal technique list, but I digress. By using one of your hands, preferably the dominant one, you will deliver a punch by clenching your fist and swinging your arm towards the opponent. A simple punch, useful in a variety of instances.
Type: Offensive

Damage: 20
Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply use one of his hands to deliver a simple punch by clenching his fist and swinging his arm. The user is free to do variations of a basic frontal punch and the technique though simple, can be deadly for strong users.
Lastly, a technique which I would use for simple RP purposes, though it could also be used in battle. You will use your dominant hand, and perform an open hand slap. This can be used to hit the opponent, slap oncoming limbs and even re-direct weapons (according to the description, but that's sketchy tbh). Anyway, you know what to do with these three techniques."

Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with an open hand, slapping him. It can also be used for defensive purposes to slap incoming limbs or weapons.
I understand the first is meant to give freedom of choice in order to perform any sort of kick. It's in a way better than the first two punch and slap because, being focused on the feet, it allows the hands to be free for handseals. As for the second, it's a weird technique, more like a brawl move rather than something with a certain finesse that you would expect from a martial art, but I guess sometimes you just have to get down to the meat and gritty. You covered the disadvantage, I'll just had that, just with every contact technique, lightning sure is a weakeness. I was wondering if, because we are using chakra-less techniques, we'd be faster than ninjutsu, specially elemental ninjutsu, sort of like Iado? As in, if we're a certain distance and we use taijutsu, it's better for our opponent to reply with taijutsu instead of ninjutsu, or we'd interrupt him."Its the way it is, we all had to do it. Nonetheless, great job with the techniques. Let us move on to the next ones. The first technique is the last of the simple technique bunch, and is simply a kick, which can be aimed anywhere on the opponent's person. The kick is simply launched in a linear fashion, however, it could be adjusted to your way you want, and allows a bunch of freedom.

Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with a kick from one of his legs. He is free to choose simple variations of the kick and the stronger he is, the more dangerous the technique is.
After that, a technique initiated by running towards the opponent, and upon getting close, you will ram into the opponent with your shoulder. This slams the opponent into the ground, and causes some blunt damage. It was one of my favourite techniques, once upon a time. However, running into the opponent isn't always a good idea.
Rank: D
Type: Offensive

Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 20
Description: The user runs at the enemy and tackles them, slamming them into the earth.
Lastly, a weird technique, but a good one nonetheless. The technique starts off by assuming a posture, where the back of your body falls back, allowing you to act as a spring as you use this momentum, to launch a kick which sends the opponent airborne. A nice technique to use when you want to follow up with another Taijutsu technique, which allows you to attack from above. So basically, a great medium."

Description: This technique uses the entire body as a spring, by amassing power through taking a posture where the back of the body falls down. With this powerful taijutsu, the user kicks just above the head. Because the power of the kick from the ground is instantly converted into a blow, the enemy hit with this attack will be launched high into the sky.
These are all palm attacks, they're quite funny and go along very well. Interesting choice sensei. My question would be, are these dry strikes or can I manipulate their descriptions a bit? As in, the first entails a downwards palm strike, but could I also use it to go into a handstand, and thus evade a technique, or is that going past the description, and thus, the handstand would essentially be freeform?"It is described faster as Ninjutsu, especially in close range. People mostly use Chidori Nagashi to stop an incoming Taijutsu attack, and although its a douche move, its what people do. Nonetheless, great job with the techniques. Next are quite some basic techniques once more, the first which is simply done by striking the opponent with a downward thrust. This allows the user of the technique, in this case, you, to slam the opponent towards the ground with said thrust.
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user strikes their opponent with a downwards thrust striking them to the floor.
After that, one could say the opposite of the previous technique, where you will strike the opponent with an upward thrust. This is aimed to hit the opponent into the abdomen, which lifts said opponent into the air. This allows you to continue some combinations, which require the opponent to be airborne.
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A

Description: The user strikes their opponent with an upwards thrust into the abdomen lifting them into the air.
Now the more linear version of this technique, where you will simply strike the opponent with a forward thrust. This can be aimed anywhere on the opponent's body, and one could use this to place seals on the opponent if you've got Fuuinjutsu. Some techniques also require contact with the body, which makes this a nice medium to do it."
