[Discussion] why do people like ace

I still don't understand why people like him. He died a horrible death like he deserved. He didn't really care about the wb pirates and made them die in vain. They should of left ace to die. They saved him all he had to do was run away but he got over confident in his abilties since he was a logia and foolishly thought he could take on an admiral. Tbh I don't remember ace beating anyone strong except billions fodder. Is there any real good reason to like his character beside him being luffys brother

Ace went toe to toe with blackbeard, akainu wrecked him neg and aokiji would have beaten him mid diff due to the elements he died because he was over confident in his abilities.

Overconfidence has nothing to do with his death. Aokiji couldn't do a thing to ace. Akainu was a plot.

Luffy went through so mmuch to save ace and in the end ace said fu luffy I'm going to go die fighting an admiral for making fun of my captain who told ace to run. The fact the he tried to fight wb was stupid considering he couldn't even kill him in his sleep. He lost to bb so yeah that was stupid and wrecklees just like wb and shanks thought.

Yes it does he went after bb thinking he could beat him and tried to fight akainu and got his arm broken in one attack. He thought he was more capable than hew actualy was with his ability. If the fight was prolonged aokiji would have mid diff him because he counter one of his attackes doesn't mean aokiji couldn't do anything.

He died to save his Brother dip sh!t Ace was one of the Greatest Pirates of his Generation, he Cleary was a threat considering his Bounty was 550million beri's. His whole character was great, just a kid wanted to know why he was hated for his father's sin. A kid who wanted to know why HE was seen as trash and a monster when he did no wrong, and after that he still found a way to be KIND to people. He didn't get his Bounty like Kid did, Ace only went around beating up strong Pirates. After he did step into the new world declaring war on White Beard has to take pure courage and will. He did obviously care about the White Beard Pirates since THATS WHY HE GOT CAPTURED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!! For trying to avenge Thatch. Black Beard Caught him off Guard and we still don't know who won that fight, they could have knocked each other out and Teach crew could have tied up Ace. What ever the case Ace was a great noble and true pirate and person so don't belittle him when all he wanted to do was learn why people hated him so much and if that hate was reason enough for him not to live. And he really loved his brothers I wish he could see Sabo

Ace is a badass looking character who was the son of the Pirate king. A real fan of his won't give a damn about how strong their fav is. Not to mention he has an awesome personality, he protected Luffy with his life.

The man deserves respect, Ace is also my favorite character in this story.
