Haven't played much games over the years but my friend recommends this one since I enjoy stories in games.

As you can tell by my profile, i'm certainly a fan, the game is an absolute masterpiece. It executes the classic escort mission in such a fantastic way. Buy it.

I am not exaggerating when I say this; of the last generation of exclusives for either console, I think I can confidently say it was the best exclusive. This coming from a Halo fan who played the hell out of Halo 2 and Halo 3. The Last of Us was a scintillating masterpiece. It executes the whole "the world is ending" theme to perfection, but it does it somewhat differently than other games. You know it's a race against time for what you have to do in the game, but it develops the main characters so well, almost like a live action movie for the hours that you play. It's an extremely tactical game in the actual gameplay and you generally feel for the characters and what they're going through. Absolutely amazing game and you should buy it. Particularly the remastered PS4 version because the graphics look out of this world.
