This thread will show that Kurama battles for Naruto as a Partner basically 2v1
Take a look at the images below so you understand why Naruto fights are 2v1
As you can clearly see at the bottom. Kurama is telling Naruto about time he was able to cut loose
Next you see Naruto telling him don't go nuts as kurama catches all the projectiles.
Whenever Naruto uses Kurama chakra he himself must move his body to make use of it properly as noted in the past with this image
In Short: When Kurama moves independently it is showing that Kurama is doing the work and not naruto
