A lot of people seem to be assuming that the hooded guy is kaguya's nemesis. I really do not think so. Now from sasuke's story, the guy is able to create white zetsu clones. Probably the originator of the tech. That's why shin looks so much more human-like compared to gedo zetsus.
But there are problems with this. If this guy is the person that scared kaguya so much. Then why is his body full of sharingans. For one thing, he wouldn't need it. He's already kaguya class. Sharingans make him unstoppable. Also, what is his business with itachi? And akatsuki? And his vendetta against sasuke? Things simply don't add up.
But kishi revealing this story now makes me believe that kaguya's nemesis does play a role in all this somehow.
What I think is that they are all pawns. The hooded guy and shins, all of them pawns. And the man playing them behind the scenes is the guy kaguya was scared of.
If I had to predict. I would say he got wind of sasuke searching for him and decided to do something about it. He has set things up to take out sasuke(the only person that can track him). I would say he is watching everything unfold. Maybe through that little juubi monster thing(probably another white zetsu creation). They are all white zetsu. Even the hooded guy. But he seems to have a consciousness that hates sasuke for some reason. Maybe the creator also has abilities to implant memories in his clones.
I think the main point of kidnapping sarada was to get to sasuke. Now she is under naruto's protection. So there is definitely no way they can get her now. I predict sakura gets captured next chapter. There are 7 MS shins running around unaccounted for. I think 7 MS shins should be enough to take Sakura.
I cannot say when they will face this zetsu-god. Maybe at the very end of gaiden or maybe in movie. But the movie is about boruto. He can't beat shin let alone some kaguya-class person. So I'd probably go with the former. Anyways I think gaiden will not be 10 chapters long or whatever. 20 maybe? Will that be enough to explore everything and give everyone closure?
