Why Kakashi became the sixth hokage after the war ?

Was it because the village was unwilling to accept tsunade to be hokage any longer . As Kakashi showed how much he is a better leader . Kakashi played an influential part in winning the war , he beat alot of powerful ninjas , he fought obito and madara , he fought tailed beasts . The previous gokage especially the hokage tsunade werent able to do much in the war because they were too weak . Kakashi showed he is on an other level compared to the other kages and tsunade who lost to madara with the help of 4 other kages .

kakashi also knew more about the ninja world and how to run a village . With him and naruto playing so much of a role in winnning the war . Naruto might have been able to accept tsunade as hokage like other villagers as she was ultimately a failure in the war and was a weak hokage .

Also with Sasuke still being alive , the only people who can go against him would be team Kakashi which consists of Kakashi , naruto , gai and kill bee . So to ensure that the other villages dont get soloed by sasuke very very low diff by himself . They needed to put kakashi as hokage .

She also made a new arm for Naruto out of Hashi's cells implying she's now given Konoha citizens and war veterans the chance to heal fatal injuries with legal consent (no longer in Orochimaru's hands).

She also saved the villagers from Pain's invasion, I can assure you that without her they would all be dead. She also saved Lee from a permanent injury which led him to save Konoha from Toneri's meteorite.

Yea, I never imaged Tsunade would be able to look herself in the mirror as hokage after her subordinates saved the world.

She absolutely had to step down.

Naruto was too inexperienced to oversee the reconstruction period, so Kakashi was the natural choice IMO.

Logically, there wasn't a good reason. Tsunade could have easily kept the position but knowing her she probably got fed and wanted to retire and so she had two options, Kakashi or Naruto.

Despite Naruto's achievements, he just wasn't ready to become a Kage. He still needed to mature before he could take the office, which left only one other plausible option. Kakashi, the number 1 reader of Icha Icha.
