You are talking about the title Hokage as if it were something beyond a title and want to include a third person on it.
@Are you saying that Naruto is not relevant enough by himself in the manga called Naruto?

Titles carry a stronger meaning in Japanese society (which Naruto is based on) and often times seniors are ONLY referenced by their title. I am not trying to include a third person in the title hokage (I assume this comment was in respect to Hashirama, Tobirama, and Madara?) but I AM including a third person on the SIGNIFICANCE of the hokage role in the village.

Naruto is relevant without Sasuke as the main character in the manga. However the inclusion of Sasuke adds a deeper relevance to his character that would not be had if he were NOT in the manga. This is what these two threads were attempting to show.

What do you think? (Is that Hello Kitty Killer Queen in your signature?)

If you stopped including the title Hokage (that doesn't have anything to do with Sasuke) and replace the words Fire and Shadow for Yang and Yin everything would make more sense.
It is yin and yang, but on a local scale. Sasuke and Naruto are the yin and yang of the leaf, respectively. Hokage is important because this is something that both Sasuke and Naruto strived for, that Orochimaru wanted and Jiraiya turned down, that Danzo strived for and Hiruzen was appointed, and what Hashirama wanted MADARA to be, but instead became (with Tobirama becoming it after.) Sasuke is simply living out the better path of his interpretation of hokage (he wanted to be the shadow of the shinobi world) and Naruto is living out the role as it was meant.

I may be choosing the wrong words, so please directly reference anywhere that you are confused. What do you think?

Sasuke is the Yin of Naruto's yang but definitively not the yin of the village. Naruto already beat that notion out of Sasuke and with the new peace there is not need to make shady stuff like in the past.

Yeah.
I disagree in that I believe that Sasuke is the yin of the village as well. He is the perfect inheritor in a line of "shadows" that existed alongside the "fires" of the village. However, that was explained in my Sasuke thread, and like Naruto and Sasuke themselves, you will not truly understand what I am trying to say in this thread unless you read the other thread. I would prefer to answer any inquiries about the shadow aspect (Sasuke) in that thread. This one is focusing on the fire aspect (Naruto.)

Also, just because I am saying "yin" and "shadow" does not mean it is "evil." Inyou is not about good and evil, but about light and shadow, and just as the light is not always good, the shadow is not always bad. I hope that this makes my point clearer.
