What fanboys seriously need to realize

I've been seeing posts about who's faster and I remember when I use to visit this site a lot there were ALWAYS arguments with people trying to use "facts" to prove their argument

Funniest thing I remember; a guy was trying to downplay Sasuke's susano'o so hard that he actually measured the length of the diamond on Susano's forehead and tried comparing it to madara's =D =D =D =D =D =D

But anyway back to what I'm talking about, you need to realize that Kishimoto PROBABLY doesn't have a scale to measure these things on. You guys comparing Naruto's teleportation to Sasuke's shifting trying to see which one is "instanter" when Kishimoto himself probably wouldn't think twice about it

This is only one example out of many.

Yeah sure you can go ahead and use the databook for stats like speed but, who actually ever even references that?

People will probably bring Kaguya into this argument about Naruto blitzing her and Sasuke failing to touch her; but if you had any basic understanding of storytelling, you'd realize that Kishimoto was trying to express Naruto's feelings of respect to Obito, that's why literally the chapter afterwards, it was almost like it never even happened.

Yeah, it's like they don't understand that characters' abilities are solely dependent on what Kishimoto wants to write for them given the situation. But its still entertaining to debate, and that's why people do it...even though this manga has some of the most inconsistent powers and feats ever.

What surprised me is the amount of people who thanked and supported his thread, which just proves they were (and still probably are) Naruto wankers. It’s funny how Naruto fanboys tried everything they can to downplay Sasuke back then. You know something is wrong with their fanbase when they start focusing their hate onto other characters, instead of kneeling down to their precious god, Nardo (which is still pathetic btw but that's what separated them from other fanbases that time).

Yeah, you're right. People look too much into it. I embrace (mostly) the simple stuff & put my attention towards character, morale, craft, etc. THAT'S why I like Naruto more than Sasuke. In my book they're equals as far as power and I value them so. But I don't run scenarios regarding "who beats who" through my head when it is/was KISHIMOTO'S story, design, characters and choice. Not mine or anyone else.

Although I absolutely agree (and it's something that's bugged me for a long time & pointed out repeatedly), what Kishi has/will write is up to him. The way battles have/will play out as well as everyone's abilities is up to him. Even if one person is faster than another, it doesn't mean the second person won't outfox the first. Why? Kishi No Jutsu. Might not make sense and I'm not disagreeing with you but debating with each other is pointles.

Instant isn't as quick like people believe, it takes second for the person to disappear and then to materialize their body 2 seconds is hardly instant.
