well what would stop a Barreta sniper rifle killing the user from a long distance ???

You have a point here , Genjutsu is problematic but i believe nowadays there is a way to see not with your eyes but through a computer , a camera , if i get cameras instead of eyes , would genjutsu affect me ?

Well you see some genjutsu like IT and KA require no ey Contact. Sound genjutsu is also an option.
