Why would Shin even WANT to avenge Itachi?

Honestly, if he actually is an Uchiha (and he thinks he is, at the very least) why the hell would he want to avenge the man that KILLED THEIR CLAN!? Seriously, is he grateful that there are like, three left? Why would he possibly seek to avenge Itachi? How would killing the killer's killer (Sasuke) bring honor back to the Uchiha? Is Shin just an idiot?

Bcoz shin knows for what purpose itachi slaughtered his own clan. And I believe during that Time he was on mission out of konoha and when sasuke killed itachi. He got angry and wants to kill him. Because itachi took a great step for the honour and peace of konoha. At this point itachi has become a glory symbol for uchiha clan and by removing it(by the hands of sasuke) the other uchihas(shin) wants to avenge his death(itachi).

I doubt Shin was anything more than a small child when Sasuke killed Itachi (or rather, when Itachi fell to Ninja AIDS).

Maybe the shin was a child but the other one(to whom everyone is calling shisui) was an adult and he know the purpose of itachi going rogue.

Except Obito was also a kid, as unlikely as it seems, it was still plausible for him, a highly emotional 13 year old kid, to be manipulated, Shisui was, I believe, almost an adult and wise beyond his years.

The Uchiha Clan curse, knows no age limit. Shisui could be motivated by the curse and a desire to avenge his friend Itachi.
