The tale of the princess kaguya

I just watched this movie and honestly i don't really know how kishi had the guts to pull a villan from such a lovely character, if the kaguya from naruto had half the backstory of the princess kaguya she would have been a great character, she's completely delightful and the story was really touching.

Has anyone in here seen the movie? How do you compare the actual princess Kaguya to the power hungry kaguya from naruto?

I always saw her as like the princess in the movie, until she went crazy, what's with trying to help her kingdom and end the war by gaining ultimate power and somehow having children, which mean that she found an husband despite being an alien-looking type.

I think the name is just there because the Ootsutsuki hail from the Moon and it's a quick reference.

That's because Kaguya from Naruto is loosely based on Kaguya from The tale of the bamboo cutter. It was never intended to be the same character, only to have some traits.
