Lol, the Pain he took down was the weakest of the group who didn't even have any offensive type of Ninjutsu and was used for reviving his fallen comrades.

Put him against any of the other Pains and he would have been wrecked.

Not downplaying his achievement but too much Konohamaru Hype.
