Meeting his former sensei ,the man who had trained him in the basics of Earth Release was a shock no doubt.It had been years since Yusei last saw Hashirama , presuming him to be dead.Obviously the Rumors were wrong,as his sensei stood in front of him in the flesh.Although he seemed different as if he didn't remember his old student.Was it old age playing tricks on the shinobi or did it have to do with Yusei's growth , either way it was obvious hashirama didn't remember Yusei.

"Its been a long time , Sensei "

Only to be replied to with a "Derp" as Hashirama threw a kunia at his forgotten student.Yusei wasted no time as he took out a kunai of his own and deflected the one thrown.Yusei then focused lightning chakra in his right hand forming a chidori which he then manipulated further into countless senbon that he released towards hashirama with a flick of his wrist,but he was only getting started.As he then focused some more chakra in his palms and slammed them down on the ground creating a small Earth tremor aimed at getting his sensei off balance as the senbon approached him.

You... I remember you!

After Hashirama threw his kunai, his opponent, who called him sensei, expelled multiple senbon of lightning towards him. Hashirama was shocked by the fact he didn't remember his old student, but he had more important things to worry about like staying alive and not getting electrocuted. He cause a pillar of earth to pop out from beneath him and raise him 3m above the ground thus evading the senbon as they strike the pillar. As the tremor appears, Hashirama falls off the pillar and lands on his feet and hands, in a crawling position 2 metres from the pillar.

As Hashirama speaks, he does one hand seal which makes his opponent believe he created a clone which rushes towards him. In reality, Hashirama placed his student in a genjutsu, he does not make a clone but actually throws a paper bomb that explodes as soon as it is short range of the enemy.
