I'm a huge Sasuke fan, but Gaiden makes him look like a total *******

He's never even seen his child past maybe 2.

You know Sakura isn't going to fool around on Sasuke, so he leaves her to "service herself" for close to a decade.

Sasuke immediately meets up with Naruto, something he could have easily done with, ya know, HIS FAMILY.

And yeah, he thinks this great journey is more important. Which is even worse, because you're basically saying your family doesn't matter compared to your own selfish desires.

Even after he becomes a good guy, he's still a total **** to Sakura and Co. I would have expected him to be away a lot, but for close to a decade? He can visit his family. My Dad was once deployed for a full year, but he obviously came back before his next deployment.

He also has Rinnegan and instant S/T technique. If he REALLY cared about his family and wanted to see them, he would have. This is a fact if you consider that he is one of the two strongest ninjas alive.

I agree. Kishi wanted to create drama and maintain his "cool and aloof" persona but it seems he forgot that that kind of personality only works for a vengeful teenager with clear motives. He is not the same person anymore, he is a grown adult and if that really is his family then he has a responsibility towards them, even as his fan I accept flaws and see that Kishi messed up here.
