No. They didn't even have K11 fight against each other. The third exam was cancelled and about everyone was promoted to Chunin, all K11 were promoted
Neji was double promoted to Jonin

In short, if you give a shit about other characters' story, watch it. If you don't care about rest of characters and their story, just Naruto/Sasuke, don't watch it.
I think its entertaining and informative at the same time. The only bad part is that we dont get to see Fuu get captured by Kakuzu and Hidan, like we dont see the actual fight, we just see the confrontation. Other than that, its full of fights and Neji stands out in both exams.

He got double because he saved Gaara's and Fuu's ass from getting their Jinchuurikis extracted and die, he deserves a lil more credit than the rest imo
