or mouth to prevent any kind of surprise Joki boi explosion. Manda should have the physical strength to destroy the clam by itself and that would leave only Joki boi and the real Gengetsu. Chidori stream removes the advantage liquefaction has over physical attacks and Sasuke finishes him.

That strategy requires Sasuke to summon Manda and put him under a curse mark enhanced genjutsu since we already saw in canon that Sasuke was only able to manipulate Manda for a few seconds with his 3T in base. It also requires intel, like you just said. This is more than enough time for Trollkage to hide himself and further mask his position by making a water clone, so now Manda is picking up three heat signatures after he ends the genjutsu and makes Jōki Bōi.

Jōki Bōi is stronger and has a wider AoE than C2 which plucked off one of Sasuke's wings and left bruses on his main body. Gaara's large AoE sand shield blocked a C3 explosion but C2's explosion was smaller in terms of scale, and to block Jōki Bōi he needed to use his mother shield which is one of his strongest sand defenses, but Gaara who was closest to the explosion

even though he was behind the shield. Keep in mind that smaller shields were blocking v3 susano'o swords and yasaka magatamas; that's how strong his sand is. Sasuke can react to Jōki Bōi's speed but that won't matter as it doesn't have to blow up in his face to kill him.

Even with intel and utilisation of that strategy do note that Jōki can carry Mizu and dodge Manda as he has the speed and reactions to do so. Sasuke is going to need to come out of Manda's nostril to attack Mizu, and the second he comes out he's suceptible to getting blown up while Mizu survives due to hydrification or he jumps somewhere else. Not to mention that he can't maintain CM2 for long, so if he isn't using that form, successive double water bullets aimed at his vitals from short range should do serious damage as well.

Edit - As for lightning techniques used on Trollkage's body. His hydrification is very unique among the Hōzuki and a good portion of his body is made out of oil which is generally a nonconductible substance. I don't believe that raiton will affect Mizu so much as opposed to Suigetsu who is 100% water and got paralyzed.

can't say I didn't try ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. though i'm curious, how do you think the clam moved? they're just mollusks and can only shift their position with sluggish side to side movements. it should have moved a considerable amount to hide itself.

Hebi Sasuke wins. Gengetsu was almost a filler character when it comes to powers - that is, a PARODY, looking unbelievably powerful and causing huge explosions and performing incredible jutsus, yet getting destroyed as if he was nothing in a hilarious manner.


Genjutsu + Chidori solos. Kirin in case of an emergency which won't really happen.
