Hey there, a new leak is recently out in terms of the upcoming Boruto: Naruto the Movie, it surrounds Mitsuki, Boruto's desire to not become Hokage and several other points. Here we go.

Cause he has Hyuga blood, is a genius and is a reference to Neji (bolt/screw), I think the hype around his talent is because Hamura's chakra gave him good chakra control or something along those lines

Yes but I think it's more leaning toward thunder as in Lightning Bolt which is more likely to have significance toward Minato Flying Thunder God and he's also known as a Prodigy, plus Naruto in a way is genius so I find it more Naruto 2.0 considering his design and his bratty personality are identical.

Furthermore, Boruto doesn't have the Byakugan which makes him less like Neji unless he will awaken the Tensegan which is highly arguable considering if the Movie have influence to the Manga or not since it's a seperate piece from the manga plus Kishi didn't script it despite consider canon.

Anyway I think Boruto will awaken something different than the tensegan which his Uzumaki with the mix of Hyuga will mutate to something entirely different similar to how Hagoromo have Rinnegan. I don't think Tenseigan will ever get it mention

Not much better, but I'd be more inclined to hate him a little less on that aspect of his character when he/kishimoto gives a reason why he acts all like that towards his father.

Lol. What if Boruto learned Chidori and Sarada learned Rasengan? That would be hilarious. I guess Boruto would have to learn a modified form because he doesn't have dat sharingan. But if he got Byakugan, that would solve the problem (we all know he won't, tho).
