Japanese voices vs English voices

I'll never be able to watch the show in english. IMO it makes the characters sound so unenergetic, stereotyped and flat.

The Japanese voice actors on the other hand obviously give it their all and you can feel every ounce of emotion and energy that the character is generating. :ilu:

They talk robotic in english. the least the dub va's could have done was improvise the script to make the character's lines sound more modern and realistic. like things people would actually say in every day life

Subbed > Dubbed almost every time.

I honestly can't watch Naruto with any dub what so ever. It's just that both russian and english phonetics are so different from japanese, it sounds ridiculous.

90% of people (or more) who say that subs are better than dubs can't speak or understand Japanese, so they can't really rate or measure a Japanese VA's talent or "expression," blah blah blah. Because of that, I think it's stupid for those people to say they prefer X show's subs over dubs. Some dubs are bad, but nowadays FUNI and other licensing companies know how to make good dubs. People are just trying to be purists.

Concerning Naruto's subs and dubs, I think that they're about the same. Naruto's voice is incredibly annoying in English, but I like Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, and Oro's voice actors, to name a few. It goes both ways.

Sub > Dub. There are a few shows I've seen with a tolerable dub. But Naruto isn't one of them.

Naruto's voice is terrible. Several characters like Kakashi and Sasuke have no emotion behind their words. Tsunade's voice is terrible.

Killer Bee and Might Guy are the only good dub voices.

You're blending "otaku" and "weeaboo." There's a difference between the two.
