allow me to clarify. A mode is not something u can use some of it is either on or off. U can't say base Naruto use senjutsu, RSM is the same way. The eyes very that he is using the same mode that he had active when he kicked Madara's tsb. The full RSM takes all nine bijuu chakra so u can call this mode BRSM if u like, but that is RM

Two possibilities:

1. He lost them & can never get them back, we've never seen gudo damas get recreated.

2. He didn't use the RSM form [9 bijuu], he only used a rikudou senjutsu enhanced BM form [just kurama]. He only gets his TSBs when he uses his strongest form.
