He was able to pierce naruto's rikudou BSM hands. SM naruto was able to break pain's chakra rods with his bare hands and obviously rikudou bsm>>>> sm naruto. So what shin did was kinda impressive.

Yeah it would you're argument has three flaws

Kunai don't possess chakra

Once chakra leaves the body you can't control it anymore you're still linked but you can't control it

If something possess chakra and one was able to control that chakra what stops shinobi from controlling other shinobis chakra

It wasn't. I don't see no strings or anything pulling those blades out and not only that but in the next panel they're pointed towards naruto and co.

I assume that Shin's Mangekyo technique is the power to telekinetically manipulate whatever object he sets his Sharingan on. Though, I assume that it would only work on inanimate objects, such as the shuriken he used. My guess is that he used the telekinesis to make the shuriken airborne and manipulate the parts to spring forth to attack Naruto and co.

Yep telekinesis , he manipulated the 8 parts of his weapon with his eyes , the 8 parts went in the same direction , toward Naruto , that is impossible without telekinesis.

If his MS is not telekinesis , what is it? What did his MS do?
