Sasuke pulled his sword on Sarada because he thinks she's in league with shin and he want's answers, this is completely obvious, now what do most ninja's and especially uchiha's do when they want answers? They put the person in a genjutsu. The ninja's who kidnapped Rin put her in a genjutsu, Sasuke used genjutsu on the cloud ninja to find out where Killer Bee was and Sasuke also used genjutsu on white zetsu to find out what was happening in the war.

Logically Sasuke should put her in a genjutsu because he doesn't know her and can't trust what she tells him, and it would be keeping within Sasuke's character. But this is Kishimoto we're talking about and he foregoes logic for asspulls and cheap drama so let's just wait and see.

Idon't know about that but from what i can tell, Sasuke's been a bit skittish in this gaiden. It seems like everytime they've shown him he's grabbing his sword like doesn't have confidents in his skill, i've never seen him like this before.

Yeah I get the feeling this is how it will go. Once she starts crying he will recognize that Sarada is his daughter and the family feels will come out. Though it is Sasuke we are talking about here so he may exchange a few blows with Sarada before realizing she is his daughter XD
