Sasuke better written than Naruto?

I always found Naruto more interesting because I wanted to know whether Naruto would kill Sasuke or save him, and his Hokage dream

How is that a fact?

Sasuke is just annoying to me. So much angst and he's just as stereotypical as Naruto is. His character is predictable as well. Be neutral, then be bad, then be neutral at the end. How dynamic. So your character changing argument is moot.

He's just another lame teenage bad boy.

I didn't like it, he was just everyone pawn throughout the manga. Also the majority of times he got a power up it was off panel, making him seem like he didn't train for anything.

How was he the pawn of anyone if he defeated those who granted him power? besides the fkcus Focus was on his character not power.

And without Sasuke the Manga would end Kaguya being FV which had turned the whole Manga into sh1t if you ask me

For me Naruto is much more interesting because the guy has the greatest determination and will literally do anything to save someone else.

Sasuke changed so much cos he has mood swings. "Imma kill itachi actually no imma kill danzo again no im gonna destroy konoha, wait im gonna be hokage and rule through fear. Im jk imma just travel the world and pretend I dont know I have a daughter"

He did the bidding of almost every major villain in the manga? Orochimaru, Obito, and Madara. He never had his goal, and when he finally did it was pretty stupid, just an excuse to fight Naruto. In my opinion he's worse than Obito, switching from one side to the
next so easily.

-Decide not to destroy Konoha

I agree and disagree a little.
I knew for a fact that he was going to do something stupid that would've set up the inevitable conclusion to Naruto's long time goal which was to save Sasuke. But it wasn't made clear when he told Sakura and Kakashi to shut up. It was surprising especially after the ridiculous "Revolution"

^I predicted that Sasuke would kill Naruto in the War Arc because of the hints he was giving during the JJ Obito batle "No I will be the one who ends his life" or what ever, and Kishimoto basically dropped hints of his Revolution from that.


Anyway I find both characters interesting. In the part of being well written, well obviously Sasuke went through more than Naruto, but Naruto had to suffer just the same. I believe their characters justified their reasoning, and Sasuke was lead through a dark path which some found pleasing and enjoyable, while others found irritating and boring. The same can go for Naruto who always followed the right path, and that pretty much stayed constant through the manga in the terms of never stepping out of boundaries. What really breached out his character was the mystery of his parents, the Kyuubi, losing Jiraiya/Pain Arc, and the War Arc held some credibility and lost some as well.

I feel as if generally both characters are great, but I feel as if Sasuke got the better end of the stick when it came towards overall development because he had lost himself. Though again this all comes down to opinion, its just how I personally feel on the subject.

Decide to be Hokage was definitely the funniest.

Good background story and potential but I personally found him to be very unlikable. Better written than Naruto? Probably. He's more of an anti-hero and his morals are questionable, which makes him interesting. Best written character in Naruto? Not a chance.
