Good old Team 7.

Cool Sasuke,funny Naruto.
The rivalry between them.

The days when u actually saw hand sings,and no jutsu spamming.

Yes, back when Naruto was a good series. Kishi. messed up shippuden here and there but it went downhill with the final arc IMO.

The whole point of part 1 was to encourage the reader to have nostalgia for it. Shippuden had its faults but it wasn't bad.
Part 1 was so great because it reminds you of a past unreachable now. It reminds you of yourself as a young child or kid.
Part 1 was so good, because it showed the process of a great worker, instead of the goal/ending itself. I
n the end, no one could possibly like Shippuden more, it could've been made by the greatest author of all time and still would've have pailed in comparison to those who grew up with it.
I love the action in Shippuden. I love everything about Shippuden. But no matter how much of a fanboy I am, I will never love it more than part 1.

i think its because of the animation. if u watch both, part 1's animation seems like its newer.

Now that i look back at it again.. ehh.. its ok compared to Shippuden, watching bunch of kids fights is alright i guess.

But I can say that only Part 1 dub had the best intro. Don't like any other intro of Naruto except the one on toonami long ago.


PS: Didn't naruto spam his clones then also?? And Sasuke spam the sharingan? every other character couldn't spam because there wasn't much screen time. 200 or so chapters vs 400+ chapters.

you did in part 2 also. All of Rock lee's fights. Gai's fights. Mifune vs Hanzo. Naruto vs Sasuke. Hashirama and Madara also started their fight off with taijutsu (tough it wasn't shown on screen).
