What do you like about Bolt?

Once Bolt realizes how Naruto is on Sasuke's **** all the time.

I'll love him as a character.

There's just no comparison. Sasuke is a tragedy while burrito is the fat rich kid who has a big Mac in his mouth and is a genius too?(As if he doesnt have enough)

Yeah I kinda agree. I never meant to sound rough on Bolt but you have to admit the situation of these kids compared to the last gen is lol worthy. I'm sure Bolt will shape up when Sasuke starts training him and he learns more about the past.

We haven't seen much of Boruto to judge his character. All we know is that he's pissed off with his father for not spending time with him, this may also include Naruto not spending time with his wife or with his daughter. Maybe Boruto represents the anger of his entire family against Naruto. (Since Hinata isn't the complaining type, and Himawari is a kid who thinks that her dad being Hokage is super cool)

Sasuke will be the one to change him and to guide him. To make him have a goal which may not be to become a Hokage.Think about this, why will Sasuke mentor a student? Maybe Boruto is immensely talented. A prodigy who picks up techniques fast. Maybe Sasuke is so impressed with his abilities that he offers to train him better.

Even Sasuke wanted attention from his father, but Sasuke always had someone to strive for, Itachi. Who he wanted to surpass or at least catch up to so that he could be acknowledged by his father.

Unlike Sasuke, Boruto acts out trying to get his father's attention in the opposite form. Sasuke achieved perfect grades, passed every test, and performed to his highest in every extra curricular activity in shinobi work just to be noticed by his father. Boruto may be in the same boat as Sasuke in the sense of being early prodigies, but Boruto has no one to catch up to. He probably has the best grades in his class, unmatched in skill, and probably does not lose very often (when it does not come to his father).

I think people judge too harshly on his behavior because he is only a kid, and the kids of this generation are not really facing much. Sarada is literally the only one with actual family problems, and everyone else is borderline standard revolutionized American kids with a twist. He is only about twelve years old, and he does not really complain at all like people say. The only thing he really does is cause problems for his father by drawing on the Hokage monument, but he only does that to gain a reaction from Naruto so that they can spend some quality time together.

Unlike Sasuke, Sasuke didn't want to spend time with his father, he wanted his father to notice him because there was already a son who casted a shadow. Outside of just pranks, the kid is pretty normal to me. He is not rude at all, not to anyone. He thanked Sarada after she helped him escape his shadow clone father, and he reasonably helped her too when she plead for the Bento tnj crap. He does not come across as this rude, know-it-all, complaining all the time child. What he does rub off is, a child who has a easy life, but wastes it on trying to get his father's attention.

I mean can we blame him, though? I guess you could say Boruto does not really have a plan for himself, he is still too immature to decided unlike Naruto who wanted to become Hokage, but he is still young too. I feel like he has potential to be a great character, and to do something with his life that extends Naruto and his legacy. I can only hope Kishimoto will do something interesting with him.

I agree with both parties at this point. Comparing Bolt to Sasuke is probably the dumbest thing, in our eyes. But we are all forgetting the fact that bolt is nothing but a kid. No matter how you grew up, you always wanted to have a fatherly figure their to support you. Something both Sasuke and Bolt didn't have (Sasuke to the extreme and Bolt childish/selfish reasons).

However, if Bolt leaves his childish/kid phases, and is still angry at the fact that Naruto isn't spending time with him, then you can hate him till your hearts content.

It would be great if Boruto could pick up some mannerism from Sasuke like: Having a calm and cool persona, and focusing more on what is important than your own self needs.

I mean he has not really acted like Naruto outside of his pranks so far (I posted an analysis on the first page), but this prank shit has to stop. Naruto did it for like one chapter, Kishimoto has had two consecutive pages of him doing it.

By the way, naruto been a "prodigy", burrito is not gonna be much different than naruto. The only thing burrito has that naruto didn't have are parents and a few bananas on his head. This it. Case closed

Bolt seem like he's going to be a cooler version of Naruto so far. We haven't seen much of his personality to determine his character atm. From what Kishi is showing Bolt might be a lot different from Naruto than we think.

That attitude he giving Sarada was pretty impressive.
