1. kishi is japanese not american so he ain't going to kill off a character because of her skin color

Which one has cornrows? People from different cultures rap. They are all living on the same continent. Naruto has blonde hair and blue eyes, is he German? Kushina has red hair, is she Irish? Indians are Asian, but many have very dark skin. I won't deny that they might be black people, or at least modeled after black people, but I'd guess they are all suppose to be Asian.
