Edo Itachi is just as powerful as BM Naruto, and in this thread you'll learn why through bulletpoints.
With this, the reader can infer that Edo Itachi would be able to take on BM Naruto, not only because he was defeating these foes in a battle without using his maximum power, but because he saved them from Nagato and was the one who came up with the plan to put an end to Chibaku Tensei. If this is not enough, he was the one who killed Nagato, because as seen in the manga, neither Killer Bee nor Naruto would have killed Naruto, for he could only be sealed.
BM Naruto isn't that big of an improvement to KCM in many aspects other than having the Kurama avatar, and this could easily be sealed away by Totsuka Blade, for generic Mokuton was absorbing it (aka: Madara's weak Wood Dragon).

or at least try to tell me your own facts and supporting ideas as a method of refuting my arguments.
- With just a 3 Tomoe Sharingan, Itachi was fighting evenly against Killer Bee and Naruto.
- Itachi saved Killer Bee (who got destroyed even in Version 2) and KCM Naruto from Nagato when they were about to get killed with just a level 1 Susano'o.
- When he finally decided to activate Mangekyo Sharingan, he did an enormous amount of damage to Nagato that neither KCM Naruto nor Version 2 managed to do to him (they didn't even tickle him) - he used Amaterasu on him and actually killed him, only surviving because he was an Edo.
- He showed tremendous strength feats, destroying the floor with his bare fists and once again, being just as physically strong as KCM Naruto.
- Itachi showed tremendous speed feats when he was fighting KCM Naruto, rivaling it and being just as agile.
- His Taijutsu, as seen in the battle with the numerous punches given to KCM Naruto while remaining untouched, is astonishing.
- Itachi was about to destroy Killer Bee once and for all when he was going to use a 3 tomoe Genjutsu, saved by Naruto telling him to look away.
