(Adam stared at Ophelia a little stupified, but then remembers she isn't from Nilfheim. )
"Sorry, I never explained did i?"
(Takes time to clear his throat)
"I as well as all of these statues that u see here am Fraust. Among the ppl of Nilfheim there is one born with the power to control all that is frozen and that person is known simply as Fraust. That person is responsible for the maintaining and prolonging of this frozen realm."
(Adam gets a bit annoyed at the fact of there being someone else with powers like his, and that is somehow reflected in his tone.)
"You aren't wrong, but the term sacrifice would be more appropriate "
:|" A Fraust's responsibility is to use his power to rid that big flame over there, the frozen ember of impurities in order to keep this flame burning strong and one day this flame will weaken to the point of almost going out. At that time it is my duty to offer up my life to revive the flame and I will become like one of the many statues u see before u."
"Nilfheim is a land frozen not only in ice, but in time as well. Ppl here never die and barely age. The ppl here feel at home in the cold and when the flame weakens the world's temperature rises. The comfort that this world feels is all thanks to this flame here. One person suffers for the entire realm's happiness.

(He says sarcastically and turns around to face the flame)
(Adam laughs at her reaction)
"I am just messing around, if i were able to do that I would have unloaded this job on some sucker ages ago. XD
I am not really the self sacrificing type so I will find my own way out of this situation."
(Adam turns into a blue mist and walks into the Blue flame)
"I won't be long" =D
"Huh, this? This is nothing"
(Adam sits down to catch his breath)
"This will heal up soon enough would u mind heading out to the entrance ahead of me"
(Adam flashes a tired looking smile)
(Adam waits until Ophelia leaves and sighs and lays down on the mantle near the flame. He pulls out a small flame and holds it above him)
"I really did over do it, but with this I have finally grasped my freedom"
(Adam rests for about five minutes and the frostbite disappears. He puts the flame in the sack that he brought with him and heads back out towards the temple entrance.)
