Do you have proof that there were other children that knew nothing of the issue between the Uchiha and Konoha?
No, but it’s only logical to assume there were other children that time. It’d be stupid af to think that there were none just because Kishi didn’t show all of the other Uchiha members. Plus, why would the senior members tell their children about the coup de’ tat when it was a highly secretive mission? Kids tend to spout shit that are not meant to come out of their mouth.

They didn't have to tell them of the operation. They could have just spread their animosity towards the village on to the children.

Besides it is possible that Sasuke was the youngest of his area.

naruto obviously, even itachi said that..he believed naruto was to only one that could save sasuke.

Itachi began believing that after realizing there was nothing he could do for Sasuke since he was going to die. And this idea was furthered once both Naruto and Sasuke stated that the latter doesn't care for Itachi's wishes in the least, but what he thinks should happen/vengeance/his own desires. I can't say I blame him for that. Many younger brothers would not do their older brother like that.

Kishimoto also mentioned that he wanted the bond between Naruto and Sasuke to be better than that of biological brothers... but even he admitted that he thinks he failed with this since most Japanese fans just think of the two characters as being insane.

itachi was a horrible brother...

his actions messed up sasuke turning his little brother into a sociopath.

Yes, in order for him to keep his life. Perhaps he should have slit Sasuke's throat that night, perhaps not. I feel as though not killing Sasuke was a merciless act. Guess not all people do though. lol

Itachi consistently ranks the highest anytime there's a poll for "the best Naruto brother". Why? Because people look at the context of the story and realize no one would have been able to do any better in that circumstance.

Itachi killed his clan because he sided with the village and he spared Sasuke because Sasuke knew nothing and was innocent. According to Itachi's words

Yes but do you think he would have went through it if he had to kill his brother?

Possibly :|

Then why didn't he spare the other innocent children who had no involvement with the coup d'etat at all? He only spared Sasuke because he loved him more than anyone else.

OT: I'm gonna have to go with Itachi here. Naruto's right up there tho.

They never said that there were any other Uchiha children, besides Obito cant really say what itachi felt. Only Itachi knows that

Do you really think there was only one Uchiha kid during the time of the massacre? :| Just because we didn't seen any, doesn't mean there weren't any.

Do you have proof that there were other children that knew nothing of the issue between the Uchiha and Konoha?

Some wrong info there.

>Itachi committed the massacre since it was what he could do to help both sides. One in an inconventional/conventional manner (save the Uchiha's name from being slandered and his little brother's life) and one in a conventional manner (save Konoha/shinobi world from conflict). In the latest databook, there was an interesting bit of info as well- Itachi hoped Sasuke would continue the Uchiha bloodline (not a substantial part of his plan, but it was an expected notion). This hope is realized via Sarada.

>Itachi would never kill Sasuke. Both for love and practicality. Now this brings us to the next point.

>When Sasuke asked why he wasn't killed, he asked in direct relation to their parents. This was written to show that Itachi does love his parents and held no malice towards them, he killed them because they were who started the coup operations which would lead to the clan's/village's downfall in the long-run. It's to show how Sasuke was not involved and how Itachi viewed him as someone innocent and pure. Remember, this is not to compare Sasuke to the rest of the clan- it's to compare him just with their parents and why two died but the third did not.

>Yes, there were other children. How could there not be? The clan's population was decreasing, however, this is still the most prideful clan in the history of the series. Probably quite a few were existing. They were not spared since Itachi had no way to do so. Who would take care of all of them? How would Itachi relocate them all at once? How would he keep their identities a secret so no one could go after them? It's not something feasible for a 13 yr old kid to do all of that, even in a series like this. Especially one that is a side character w/o plot armor that main characters have. With this being said- Itachi is a character that is heroic but has committed great sins at the same time. He's not really 100% bad, pure, or good like others in the series. Kishimoto wanted to reach a balance between viewpoints with this character. /However, with that being said, Japanese having no singular/plurals, Uchiha population in decline, and it being up to reader interpretation- I do understand the "Sasuke being the youngest kid" arguments and if Kishimoto ever wanted to pull a plot twist directly involving the massacre and who exactly all died- as a writer he'd have the leniency to go that route if he so desired.

----

ot: People have different definitions of "caring for someone". Naruto and Itachi care for Sasuke in very different ways. Both cared for him in odd ways (Naruto beats Sasuke into submission, Itachi manipulates him- latter admits they're wrong while the former does not).

Naruto's way

Naruto is willing to go very far for Sasuke, even lose an arm or his life. Spend years going after him, thinking about him. It's a very strong bond. Like a brother/best friend. He's also the only one residing in Konoha to never attempt to cut off his bonds with Sasuke. However, he's also been shown to close-minded until the end regarding Sasuke. Sasuke had to give up on his ideals and be "redeemed" in order for this bond to finish on good terms. The bond itself is nice... but it also seems selfish from both sides and a tad forced imho.

Itachi's way

Itachi is basically Sasuke's father figure in addition to an elder brother. He was there for him as a kid when Fugaku wasn't (despite being just 5 yrs older than him). He consistently worries about him and inadvertently always treats him as a child he had to protect (Itachi stated the latter part himself and cited this as a mistake). He admits his faults and that he should have trusted in Sasuke's own strength instead of attempting to direct him. He keeps an open-mind finally and tells him that he will love his little brother forever. The dialogue when he says that famous line is important. He uses the word "aishiteru" to describe that love. Aishiteru is the ultimate form of love, the most selfless kind. One can be betrayed or hated by the other for all eternity and still hold no grudge, still love them. This word is rarely used in real life to loved ones and this is the first time I've heard it in an anime/manga. As a reader, one has to recognize that Kishimoto chose Itachi to be the only one to ever say that to Sasuke (or the only character to say that to another in this series period) to denote the strength of the former's care of the latter. Itachi's love for Sasuke does not involve himself. It only revolves around the latter. He expects nothing in return unlike Naruto.

In conclusion: Itachi cares the most about Sasuke.

However, if you were to phrase this question slightly differently and ask which bond out of the ones Sasuke had was the strongest- it would be Naruto's/Sasuke's.

This is because even though Itachi greatly cares for Sasuke and understands him- I feel as though the latter doesn't understand the former. This isn't Sasuke's fault. He only lived with Itachi for 8 years, probably only 5 of those he remembers (since the standard for one remembering usually begins at age 3). Itachi was the elder and saw Sasuke grow up. Of course he gets him more and would be willing to do more. Sasuke doesn't return much by comparison.

Meanwhile, Sasuke and Naruto can consistently relate to each other's pain. They move together in the series, literally (going on quests, each gain power ups, etc). Sasuke even admits that his brother and past family are "just a memory" and that Team 7/Naruto are his family. Reciprocating Naruto's feelings by saying that he was jealous as well and viewed him as a brother, hurting when he hurt, etc. Naruto is the one to change Sasuke completely, "save him from darkness", etc.

The real question is, who actually cares for Sasuke and not his looks?

Fugaku
Mikoto
Itachi
Kakashi
Naruto
and Sarada.

We get it you don't like her, but Sakura obviously belongs in that list. :lol

OP: Itachi by far.

People saying Naruto loves Sasuke more than Itachi :lol

Itachi killed the entire Uchiha clan and to keep his brother alive. Not even going to include his Akatsuki arc, and Itachi v. Sasuke here. That should speak volumes on what Sasuke means to Itachi. Sasuke is an important person to Naruto yes, but Naruto's understanding and love for Sasuke is more a friendship rivarly. They are brothers, but nothing that compares to the likes of Itachi.

What Naruto felt for Sasuke, Sasuke feels for Naruto. Does that mean he might have chased Naruto to bring him back? Not quite, but Naruto did not really chase Sasuke 24/7, he only went after Sasuke when they had information on his wear bouts, while Itachi did what he had to do for Sasuke ever since the Uchiha massacre.

Sorry I tried very hard but I came to a conclusion that none of these people care about Sasuke the most. The people who care the most are The Entire Forum and Naruto x Hunter

I haven't seen one panel of Sakura showcasing her feelings for Sasuke are from nothing but looks. Literally there is no development in that section where she states why she loves Sasuke or anything, so we go back from the start and look as to why she loves him in the first place: Sexsuke

Typical hater. Trying to find reason where reason isn't necessary. You don't need a reason to fall in love or be in love with someone. Her childish crush turned into true love for him.

You need a reason to continue to love someone, especially after they try to kill you over three times.

I am not denying that she likes his looks, that was definitely the start, but it's very obvious she cares about him, even now trying to make him look better in front of their daughter despite his neglect.

Anyways this goes without saying and it's not a topic of discussion, you don't need to admit it, you don't like her and that's fine. :lol

First, Hebi Sasuke had no intentions of kill Team 7.

Do you even read the manga, or just you comment based on your personal feelings? The theme of Naruto has always been forgiveness.

Kakashi stated Sakura still feel like it was her duty to save Sasuke. Sakura never stop believing that the old Sasuke was somewhere in there, but she also knew that there was nothing she could do to save him. A true relationship is based on accepting that other person's faults. Understanding that we're just not perfect.

Which is why I think Sasuke and Sakura's relationship is the most interesting in the manga.

So Sakura loves Sasuke why again? I don't understand where you stated it in your post

The crappiest relationship in this manga, correct.

Either you're confirming the fact you can't read, don't want to read, or you're forgetful.

I've lost people in my life, and no matter how hard I try believe there was a reason, the reality is there wasn't. I list a bunch of possibility as to why I've lost them, but it's not closure to me. Those who seek reasons, seek closure in something.

So, I've slowly been opening my mine to shit just happens. I believe love happens the same as death, unpredictable. If need you a reason to fall in love with a girl, then good luck in finding Mrs. Perfect.

Sakura and Sasuke(along with Naruto) did spend time together and become close. It's funny how people talk as if Sasuke and Sakura wasn't close, even when Sasuke admit he saw them as his family.

Life and death is part of life. Anything with life will die one day. What happen to you was something very natural. If love has no reason then it has no backing to stand tall in difficult times. Adding a reasoning would add much more depth to this pairing.
