Which anime got u in the mood? Like being hyped with moments, music etc.

For me it got to be Naruto & One Piece.

Despite Naruto not having the greatest animation it sure got me in the mood.
OSTs blend perfectly with the moments.Surely one of the best anime which got me hyped.

Same goes with One Piece. At the begining the animation was awesome but with time, same as Naruto the animation went from awesome to good/decent at last.

But still didn't make me not enjoy the show.
The fights are pinpoint and the music....just....

Code Geass. Just about every aspect I found appealing and I don't usually like Mecha-type animes or ones that involve robots for fighting. But the abilities, the character development for nearly every character that was significant, the fighting, the story of course, an amazing ending and Lelouch is amazing to watch, he's my second fav anime character. The only thing that would have made it perfect would be if it had more adventure to it since that's my personal preference in mangas/animes but Geass doesn't really call for it and goes great without it. I'd recommend watching it if you haven't already.

Season 1 of Tokyo Ghoul. Season 2 messed with my head a little bit too much. Season 1 stuck to the manga for the most part, which I liked a lot. The animation was great, the voice acting was on point. It was good.

Shinsekai Yori.

Plot, Music, Development, characters...Shinsekai Yori had about everything! It started slowly and it seemed like it reached its peak very early on with probably 21 or so episodes to go..I remember even thinking "eh? Whats going to happen now?" But the plot twist..Ohh the plot twists this show served me with. It kept me glued I didn't notice the show didn't have an opening song until a surprise one in Episode 16. The show was just that good.

Mirai Nikki comes in second place.

I hated the animation when I first saw One Piece. I think it drastically improves as the show goes on. Same with naruto. Only fights are exceptions I think.

And I cant choose a favorite anime. I usually like all the ones I see in different ways.

Higurashi.

I'm going to try to not spoil as much as possible as of why this anime, among the many animes out there, is my favorite and is because it's just the best anime that I've ever seen in my entire life. The character are just great, the pacing can be slow at first, yes like many animes out there, but bare with it, it's an awesome anime. Okey the animation is not the best one out there (2006) but if you can handle it, i promise you that you will beg for more. In my entire experience watching anime, I haven't seen an anime with so much in depth with characters plus superb soundtracks.

I recommend this anime to all the people who love mystery, drama, horror, psychological & thriller.

Here is an actual gif of the anime

A better review than mine without spoiling that much either

Watching Higurshi is like locking a group of happy people in a test chamber, only coming back to find they've hacked each other into a bloody mess. Its horrific, its shocking, and yet a part of you, cannot help but wonder, how did it happen?

The curiosity takes over... and so you repeat the experiment, knowing full well that those cute looking teenagers you just sent are going to end up as bloody pulps. But hey, at least each time they die, you're one step closer to figuring out why they died, it's all good.

Higurashi essentially places you in the role of the scientist. It divides itself into several arcs, each of which begin exactly the same. A teenager moves into a remote countryside village, and befriends a group of sweet fangirls that could have come out right from a harem rom/com. Then, explicably, thing go wrong... very wrong.

The pacing is excellent, the suspence pulpable. You know terrible things are going to happen, but you don't know exactly what. Higurashi would appeal to two types of people. The maglomanics who cackle madly in seeing a happy community descend into the depth of oblivion, and the curious scientist who watched each arc with intense interest... for they want to know exact *why* everything goes wrong (though they can also cackle madly just a little).

The true draw of Higurashi is the mystery. The series will leave you guessing, postulating all manner of reasons why the sweetest girl in the class is now butchering every child in sight with a giant cleaver. Each experiment you run (arc you see) reveals a few more clues, and you formulate a new theory, only to find it shattered by another totally unexpected horror in the very same arc. The beauty of Higurashi is that a mystery of such grand scale, every detail is meticulous, and while every bloody event seems random at first, they all eventually fall into place

Not only are the characters are memorable, and filled with interesting secrets, and unlike school days, they're actually also extreme likeable. This is no small achievement, given what they're portrayed doing to each other.

Higurashi is really the pinnacle of a dark mystery. You'll start off the mad scientist, watching those innocents in the test chamber with morbid curiosity. Yet, slowly, that morbid curiosity will be transformed into sympathy, and as you fall in love these victims, that initial curiosity will into turn a genuine desire to figure out whats going on so that they can be saved.
If you want to watch it then watch it by this order;

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni OVA: Nekogoroshi-hen
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kaku: Outbreak

The OP is really meh/okay now with the lazy animation/art done by the baboons at Toei animation. My fav. anime is Fate Zero, HxH 2011 (man I love episode 126, 131, 135, the election/yorknew/chimera ant arc as a whole & even the soundtrack, hence the ED 5 in my sig.) & YYH/FMA:B. OP anime could be easily #1 if it was animated and adapted properly by a more competent studio.

Kekkai Sensen from this spring 2015 season could be up there. I'm already enjoying it a lot, loving the soundtrack.

It's really hard to pick just one but I have to say Beck. I've seen it about 4 times in total start to finish and I could watch it again.

I found the characters extremely well written and the dialogue was great. The songs were decent but matched the theme well and the overall plot was very entertaining. Even the romance was done really well, it had great writers. It was realistic but at the same time unbelievable at parts which makes for great.

Steins;Gate, almost hands-down. I've seen about 80 anime in the three years since I first watched it and no experience has ever come close to it.

The cast was small but one of the best I've seen for any series, their development over time (particularly the main character) was almost second to none and it also had a very satisfying romantic subplot, the music was a little repetitive but extremely well-suited to every moment, the animation was very good for a non-action series, and the comedy and drama were both top-notch. I first watched it in English and I honestly couldn't recommend it in any other language, cause the dialogue was just so much funnier and the performances were emotionally on par (at times superior) with what I've heard of the original voices.

That plot, though, has got to be among the best pieces of fiction I've seen anywhere, especially in the sci-fi genre. It's easily the best time travel story I've ever seen, and as far as suspense and mood shifts go, there's just nothing better. I can still remember at least five crucial points during the anime where I either had my mind blown or all the blood just drained out of my face (I wish I could convey those feelings better without spoiling anything) and it's amazing how some of its best plot twists are right in front of your face the entire time, but it just hooks you in so much that it keeps you stuck in the moment and catches you off guard when they come.

I'm not gonna say it's the best anime I've ever seen cause there are a couple others I consider better all around, but where just hitting every note is concerned, I've never been more satisfied with how a series played out and concluded (it's only 24 episodes, but I do consider the follow-up OVA to provide a much more satisfying conclusion, so I recommend watching that along with it).
