Hunter X Hunter still shit on everybody else with what they got already. Like seriously nothing can't top the chimera ant arc. That arc showed the true nature of human. Showed how dark and evil we can be or how extreme we will go to conquer our fear.

True that but let's be real here, it's more likely for Pierrot to do it than Madhouse. A Dark tournament arc & chapter black arc with updated animation would be nice for long time fans.

I know it's way too early to say this but I think the Dark Continent arc may top it. Maybe not in complexity but in story telling and villains, yeah. I like Togashi's villains because most of the time they're complex/psychologically messed up.

Yeah, I wouldn't have to worry about that too much. He put a lot of thought/effort into making the Dark continent (the content alone & the artwork should tell you that) so I doubt he'll just abandon the series like that and he regrets abandoning YYH as it seems. It may even be longer seeing how good the drawings have been with the recent chapters.

OT: Lol I find the best way to deal with this hiatus is to watch/read other series and do other stuff aside from anime/manga. I got a bucket list of series to get caught up on and stuff to do irl so that keeps me busy.
