Doflamingo did technically win this round through attrition.

But I think this is more about showing the biggest flaw in Gear 4 in the over all scheme of things. It gave Luffy the power to completely over whelm Doflamingo but it has a time limit on how long it lasts and it leaves Luffy helpless at the end of that time limit.

This fight actually reminds me of the Crocodile battle, got defeated twice and survived because of flukes before beating him in the final round.

I never said anything about underestimating him but he has the classic signs of plot armor, insane durability and unending stamina. It just makes the whole fight seem plot stricken and predictable. I just think that if he'd have the same limits as everyone else it'd be a more entertaining fight. Who here honestly didn't see this coming, luffy suffering from the draw backs of G4 and having to stall doffy who despite taking a dbz attack still keeps coming with no signs of his powers weakening. I dunno it's just getting lame seeing luffy and law get tired while doffy spams his powers over the entire island almost non stop. Maybe it's due to his awakening but I think it detracts from the overall fight.

I think that we will see some fatigue next chapter, Luffy established that he needs one more blow to finish Doflamingo, so he is on his last leg.

honestly?, I don't see G4 beating a fresh doffy. Maybe it's plot armour or what Not but Doffy had always been a tier above both Luffy and Law. Just because Law was a shichibukai doesn't mean he's in Doffy's league. Just think about it like this,G4 against Akainu won't take him down or slow him one bit. Not saying Doffy is in Akainu's tier but you get what I mean. But this also shows the need for luffy to overcome thus draw backs as people in the tiers above won't be easily beat by G4

This right here. Also this plot shield shit is completely irrelevant. Most characters have one lmao, what else would a manga be without it? If there was no plot shield, all people would need to do is to throw DF users into the water and it's GG. But in a 1v1 the DF users would neg diff. What kind of argument is this even?
