Kurama uses nature energy correct?

The problem is huge chakra =/= combat skill + chakra usage...
The one is fighting is Naruto, same to Sasuke, they both have access to huge pool of chakra, 0,5vs8,5.
Both have same ability to take chakra from certain source and use it.
We can not say itachi and 8,5 bijuu is fighting when they are the source of the power same to half Kurama when Naruto only has access to chakra. He can obivously able to take chakra from kurama or control kurama since turtle arc and now rikudou enchanced make it easier, but that is not Naruto character and his promise to treat Kurama as friend.

This was always a WTF moment for me, was it simply just plot?

Since when was Kurama a sage? He gathered all the available nature energy in the atmosphere, yet couldn't do that for Naurto and Minato while facing Juubito? :|

Kurama is made of Hagoromo's chakra. Rikudou chakra is Senjutsu because it's Kaguya's chakra influenced by the Juubi's. And Kurama absorbing NE was foreshadowed when Naruto stated how easy it was to go into SM with BM
