Hooded Akatsuki should be an Uzumaki

I believe the hooded Akatsuki should be an Uzumaki.

1.) The history: Ok who here honestly isn't insanely interested in what happened to the clan? Their country was destroyed quickly and mysteriously, and they were said to be very powerful. I want to see what happened to them and why.

2.) New Jutsus: We've only seen the stronger Uzumaki jutsus used by a very few select characters, which honestly must only scratch the surface of the arsenal they had. Don't forget that this is the clan that brought us sealing, chakra chains, and the reaper death seal. Just imagine what this character would be capable of and just how interesting it would be to see him fight if he had access to all the clan's jutsus.

3.) Kick Uchihas out of the villain spotlight: Yep, some of you might get really sensitive over this one but for once I think it would be better for the Uchihas to take the back seat this time. Sasuke has been chasing Uchihas around forever, so seeing him go after the onion Uchiha boy was nothing new, but if an Uzumaki stepped in we'd suddenly get to see Naruto in that same position. How would Naruto deal with that? Would he handle it differently than Sasuke? What could he learn about his people? Would he redeem them or eliminate the last surviving member(s)? There's just so many amazing and FRESH directions that Kishi could go with this.

I don't think that always has to be the case. Obito and Madara went well beyond their ties to Konoha to take down something bigger. An Uzumaki who has no homeland to restore might do the same.

Itachi might only be relevant to the Uchiha boy simply because he's an Uchiha, and the hooded guy might just be going along with it. We don't know their relationship yet so we don't know what the hooded guy wants with "Itachi's killer." Or it might have to do with them being Akatsuki. My worst fear is that the guy is an Uchiha too, but again knowing Kishi that might just happen.

Expect an already known character, or Uchiha, tbh. It would be a nice change of pace, but it's too late now, and wouldn't add up, imo.

An already known character is Kishi's go-to style so I can agree. Just wish he'd change things up since now is the time to do it.

Maybe, I guess considering the new series; albeit a short. But, I think adding the Uchiha- whether just a mockery via implanted eyes or the real deal- would sort of be a waste.

I could name a few from the top of my head:
Nagato, Sparks, Mist, Blaze, Eden, Sulraj, Dannie, Nasai.

And what's to stop it from being "Root" literally ? Danzo was known to be ruthless and feared people capable of controlling the 9 tails, it would make sense if he was responsible for Uzumaki wipe out like he was for the Uchiha

It would give incentive for an Uzumaki to wipe out Konoha and for Naruto to experience what Itachi did when one of his own people decides to attack his home.
